Women under the Taliban Regime

Women in Afghanistan had always to fight for their rights, but with the Taliban take over in August 2021, the few freedoms they fought for are in danger of disappearing for good. What is life like under the Taliban regime? What is it like to be a woman? What is allowed at all? What is not? And how do women today, one year later, look at their lives back? We tell the stories of women who are fighting a quiet but stoic fight so that they are not forgotten, so that they do not become invisible.
